I built this to get myself through the CCAR-P, and it worked, I passed.

If the course gets you there too, drop me a hello. I would like to hear how your sitting went, and what can be improved.

Frequently asked questions

Is this practice exam free?

Yes. Every question, every practice mode and the whole dashboard are free, with no account and no sign-up. There is no paid tier and nothing is held back; all 200 questions are reachable from the first visit.

How many questions are on the Claude Certified Architect - Professional exam?

A scored form runs to 63 questions with a 120-minute limit. The timed mock on this site matches that shape: 63 items drawn in the same domain proportions as the published blueprint, on the same clock.

What score do you need to pass the Claude Certified Architect - Professional exam?

The pass mark is 720 on a scaled range of 100 to 1000. Scaled scoring means the raw number you got right is converted onto a fixed scale, so 720 is not the same as getting 72% of the items right. This site scores its timed mocks on the same scale and shows the margin between your result and the cut.

Are these the real exam questions?

No. Every question here is original, written against the published exam blueprint. Real exam content is confidential and sitting an exam commits you to keeping it that way, so no reputable practice set contains it. These items are built to test the same objectives at the same level, which is the part that actually transfers.

What topics does the exam cover?

Seven weighted domains: solution design and architecture, models and prompting and context engineering, integration, evaluation and testing, governance and safety, stakeholder communication and lifecycle, and developer productivity. Integration is the heaviest at 19% and developer productivity the lightest at 7%. Between them they hold 38 graded objectives.

Who is allowed to take the exam?

People at organisations in the Claude Partner Network. Registration requires a work email on a recognised partner company domain. A personal address will not complete sign-up. Firms that are not partners can apply to join. This catches a lot of people out, so it is worth checking before you plan any study.

How much does the Claude Certified Architect - Professional exam cost?

$175 at list price, with an automatic 50% discount for Select, Preferred and Global Premier partners. The three Foundations-level exams cost less: $99 for Associate and $125 each for Developer and Architect. The credential is valid for 12 months, after which a free renewal assessment keeps it current.

How long should you study for it?

It depends far more on your production experience than on hours logged. Someone who has shipped a retrieval pipeline and an agent loop is mostly revising vocabulary; someone who has only used the chat interface is learning the subject. A useful signal is the timed mock on this site: sit one cold, and the gap between your scaled score and 720 tells you more than any recommended hour count.

Is my progress saved if I close the tab?

Yes. Every answer, score, bookmark and mistake is written to your browser's local storage, and timed mocks, guided tests and extended runs can be resumed where you left them. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, which also means clearing your browser data clears your history.

Is this site affiliated with Anthropic?

No. This is an independent, unofficial study resource with no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from Anthropic. For the official exam blueprint, booking and policies, go to Anthropic directly.

The practice modes are the point of this site, but a question bank cannot tell you how the exam is shaped, who is allowed to sit it, or where people lose marks. Those are written up separately.
